Triumph Group International: 2023 Sustainable Strategy and Actions Presented in the New Impact Report
A document celebrating TGI’s four years as a Benefit Corporation, featuring significant innovations in reporting and sustainability goals for the next three years.
Rome, 2 September 2024 – Triumph Group International today publishes, together with its financial statements, its fourth Sustainability Report and third Impact Report, integrated into the 2023 Impact Report. This document marks an important milestone, celebrating four years of commitment to pursuing common-benefit objectives in a responsible, sustainable and transparent manner, while balancing the interests of shareholders with those of the wider community.
Among the main new developments is an approach that highlights the diversity of the Holding, which operates across two continents and five countries (Italy, the UK, Belgium, Singapore and China). For the first time, data from all subsidiaries have been collected both on a consolidated basis, to provide an overall view of the Group, and separately, through dedicated company profiles that serve as practical working tools for each individual company.
Since 2023, the preparation of the Impact Report has taken a major step forward, bringing standard reporting to a new level through two perspectives: one assessing the company’s impact and the other focusing on the services it provides. TGI has also incorporated many ESRS items into its reporting tool, aligning with European directives that will become mandatory for listed companies from 2024. Thanks to feedback from internal and external stakeholders, the data presented in the document have been made clearer and more accessible.
Maria Criscuolo, Chairwoman & Founder of Triumph Group International, said: “Our commitment to sustainability and employee well-being lies at the heart of our corporate strategy. We are proud of the results achieved and determined to continue along this path, actively engaging our employees and collaborators.”
Francesca Accettola, Director of Triumph Italy and Vice President of Triumph Group International, added: “Our vision for the future is to be a company with high sustainability standards that also inspires its partners and clients to do the same. We will continue working to create an inclusive and sustainable workplace, promoting well-being and innovation.”
Irene Bengo, CEO of Triadi – an innovative start-up and spin-off of Politecnico di Milano – added: “The publication of the 2023 Impact Report marks another important milestone in the impact measurement journey that Triadi has undertaken together with Triumph Group International. Among the tools developed for TGI, the indicator dashboard undoubtedly stands out. Based on a Theory of Change approach, it identifies output, outcome and impact indicators in line with the common-benefit objectives defined by the Group. Consistent with the main European reporting standards, the indicator dashboard is a flexible and highly customised tool designed to measure and manage the impact generated by the Group both internally and externally through its events.”
